Singer

Christine Ranck, Patti Wyss and Sula Haska have been singing together in various incarnations for a really long time. Perhaps they were separated at birth! Why, they can practically harmonize in their sleep! Their current collaboration, The Janes, encompasses a wide variety of musical styles: from rock to pop to country to jazz; from the 30s, 40s and 50s girl groups to the hip-hop sound of today; all their shows are tailored personally for their audiences. They are truly a human jukebox!

Collectively, The Janes represents many years of experience in show-business. Its individual members have appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in regional theaters and in night clubs all over the world.

Chris, Patti and Sula have traveled Europe and Iceland with the USO. They have been backup singers for stars such as Barry Manilow, country legend Eddy Arnold, Grammy winner Mark Cohn, as well as the opening act for comedian Jackie Mason and many others. Accomplished studio singers and musicians, all three have been heard together on familiar commercial jingles, movie soundtracks and CDs.

The Janes performs their unique and individualized programs at regional corporate conferences in the US, locally in cabaret clubs in New York City, and at private parties and openings almost anywhere. In addition, The Janes (as “Jukebox Jane”) is in a movie! Look for them as a featured act in a documentary film about performers, called “Underground Stories,”. In addition, they were recently featured jazz guest artists with the 70-piece New Haven Symphony orchestra.

This wealth of experience together has enriched their relationships with each other and with their audiences, and added immensely to the joy and privilege they feel about singing together.
