Christine is a self-defense expert and vocal advocate of self-defense training for women. She was a founding board member for what is now a national self-defense organization called Prepare/Impact. In that role she appeared on many national talk shows including Rolanda and The Today Show.
Dr. Ranck, a New York City resident, was present when the Trade Towers were attacked on 9/11. She provided countless hours of gratis trauma relief treatment to the victims of the attacks and continues to focus on trauma recovery in her therapy practice. She now teaches a 3-day introductory workshop for Brainspotting, a brain-based trauma therapy modality.
